Dr. Amit Sharma

Dr. Amit Sharma is an internationally trained orthopedic surgeon with over 23 years of experience, specializing in joint replacements, arthroscopy, minimally invasive complex trauma surgeries, and sports injuries.

What truly sets him apart is his rare combination of clinical expertise and personal passion. As an avid endurance athlete, Dr. Sharma regularly participates in marathons, triathlons, table tennis, and club-level cricket. His firsthand experience with sports gives him deeper insight into the specific needs and recovery paths of athletes.

Before moving into private practice in 2012, he completed senior residencies at LNJP (MAMC) and Sant Parmanand Hospital, Delhi, and served as Head of Orthopedics at Dr. Hedgewar Hospital, Delhi, for 8 years.

He has enhanced his skills through fellowships in Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, and Sports Injuries from NSOSMC, Sydney, and the Synthes Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Trauma Surgery from KUMC, Seoul.

Further committing to excellence, he completed a PG Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales, England—making him one of the few orthopedic surgeons in Northern India with such a specialization.

Currently, Dr. Sharma serves as Principal Consultant, Orthopedics at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, with a strong focus on Joint Replacements and Arthroscopy. He also runs his clinic, City Clinic, in Krishna Nagar, Delhi.
