Month Of May is International Arthritis Awareness Month
From conducting an Arthritis Awareness Camp at Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram , to participating as faculty at the National Hip 360 Degree Conference — the message remains the same:
Arthritis of any form is crippling, but Hip arthritis is often more severe than knee arthritis in terms of functional disabilities , yet patients tend to ignore symptoms till mobility is seriously affected.
Key points for public awareness:
* Hip degeneration can severely impact walking, balance, sitting & overall independence.
* Pain may present in the groin, thigh or even lower back, leading to delayed diagnosis
* Persistent stiffness, limp or difficulty in daily activities should never be ignored.
* Early diagnosis and timely intervention can significantly improve quality of life.
* Modern hip replacement techniques today offer excellent pain relief and faster recovery.
Awareness and timely treatment remain the key to active aging and better mobility.
